A presentation of 15 black-and-white images as tiles? What’s it all about?
For my portfolio I tried to create and select images that raised questions in the viewer’s mind. I wanted to challenge the viewer to ask what and why. I selected limited views of our daily life and tried to enhance the impact by using pure black and white wherever possible.
To raise the challenge one level I mounted my images individually on white polystyrene. I selected this form of presentation as I believe the images deserve some independence while belonging to one portfolio. This way the images could be moved around, grouped differently, or put on top of each other, like in a puzzle.
